12,000+ Registered Attendees. 450+ sessions. 140+ partners. 40+ countries. 3 days. 1 epic conference.
Excited and thrilled to be part of Connections ’19 and to spend three amazing days of learning, networking and getting inspired – all while having fun. For those who haven’t attended Connections before, it is like a Dreamforce for Marketing, Commerce and Service Pros and the focus is on customer engagement in all those areas.
There are sessions for everyone – from beginners to executives, with real strong Content and various learning and networking opportunities. Various sessions : Theater sessions, Breakout sessions, super sessions and Keynote sessions, loaded with information and takeaways. Some sessions are offered live (Keynote sessions) while some will be uploaded on the internet in a couple days after the event. Find the recording of all Keynote sessions here. RoadMap sessions are never recorded and are not made available on the internet, they are not to miss sessions. Networking before and after the sessions is a great chance to meet different subject matter experts from all around the world and to be inspired with their great stories.
Hands On Workshops: A great advantage of attending the conference is the opportunity to gets hands-on training of specific features from subject matter experts and certified instructors. A major benefit of attending hands-on training sessions is the access to trail orgs to practice and the hand-outs with detailed instructions to follow. This is much valuable as a practice org for Marketing Cloud is hard to get without a license and the trail org provided is valid until a week after or so. There are around 10-15 hands-on training sessions focusing on AMPScript, Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Segmentation, etc., for a duration of 60-90 minutes. Proctors were available throughout the session for any questions or help. All these HOWs were full standing room and it may not be possible for one to attend all of them but I managed to get the hand-outs from almost all of them. Circles of Success is yet another way to network in collaborative groups and discuss about current implementation and features.
The Customer Success expo is a great way to get a demo of new product features and to meet partners highlighting marketing, commerce, service and industries like financial services, retail goods and health and life sciences. 1:1 Consultation gave an opportunity to talk to a product expert directly and to get guidance on new implementations or to find solution to an issue. And all of this while having fun thru various Quests, prizes, games and giving back to the community.
